Meet the Simmons Builders Team
Daniel Simmons, Owner & CEO

My name is Daniel Simmons, and I am the owner of Simmons Builders. I have more than 20 years of experience in construction, and I still approach every job like a builder first. That matters in water damage work because it is not just about removing water. It is about protecting the structure, understanding how materials react to moisture, and making sure the home can be put back together correctly with lasting results.

Simmons Builders is a family owned business that started as residential contracting, and in the past five years we have expanded into water mitigation and restoration. We made that move because we saw how many homeowners needed a team that could handle the problem the right way, not just dry things out and disappear. All of my kids work in Simmons Builders as a team, and that family mindset shows in how we treat people. We communicate clearly, we show respect in your home, and we stay accountable from the first call to the final walkthrough.
What I love most is helping people get their lives back to normal. When water damage hits, families are stressed and overwhelmed, and the situation can feel out of control fast. I take pride in being the person who brings calm to the process and helps guide the work with honesty and steady leadership. At the end of the day, we are honest, we keep our word, and we stand behind our workmanship and quality.
Draven Simmons, USMC Veteran, Water Mitigation & Emergency Response

Draven Simmons is a United States Marine Corps veteran who brings proven discipline, accountability, and leadership into the day to day work at Simmons Builders. He served four years in the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. His MOS was Small Arms Repair Technician, a role that demanded precision, detailed inspection, strict documentation, and total responsibility for critical equipment. He also ran the armory for two years during his service, which required consistent leadership, clean process, strong computer based tracking, and careful money management and inventory control under pressure.
That foundation is highly relevant in water damage restoration, where details matter and the pace is fast. Draven is trained to stay calm, follow procedure, and protect what is in his care, which translates directly into safer job sites, better organization, and a smoother experience for homeowners. His work reflects a mindset of doing it right the first time, keeping clear records, and staying accountable through every phase of the job.
At Simmons Builders, Draven is part of the family team that specializes in water damage restoration and emergency services. He assists homeowners through every stage of recovery, including demolition, cleanup, and mitigation, helping restore properties safely and efficiently. He is also actively involved in the 24 7 emergency response, ensuring fast, reliable service when it matters most and helping families feel supported the moment they call. In addition to hands on restoration work, Draven helps build and improve internal programs, supports sales efforts, and assists with insurance claims related to water damage so the process feels less overwhelming and more organized for the customer.
At Simmons Builders, the focus stays simple. Take care of customers, protect the home, and do the job right. Draven takes pride in being part of a family owned company that shows up with urgency, communicates clearly, and treats every home with respect.
AnnAlicia Simmons, Certified Mold Inspector & Customer Support

My name is AnnAlicia Simmons, and I have been with Simmons Builders since 2022. Currently I am a full time student at McNeese State University working toward a degree in early childhood education, and that background has helped me become patient, clear, and organized when communicating with homeowners. As a potential client, you will hear more from me on the phone than you will see me on the jobsite, because I help guide a lot of the early communication and questions that come up during water damage and restoration projects.

As of 2025 I became a certified mold inspector, with my credentials coming through Micro. In water damage situations, mold risk is a real concern, and being trained to recognize and address moisture related issues helps our team protect the home properly. I take pride in helping keep details straight and making sure customers understand what the process looks like, especially when they are stressed and trying to make quick decisions.
My favorite part of the mitigation and restoration side of construction is seeing the carpentry, electrical, and new paint all be done. To me, those three things give homes a facelift and modernize what is already existing. I love seeing a home go from damaged and disrupted to clean, finished, and comfortable again, because that is the moment families feel relief and can truly move forward.
Mariah Persons, Office Coordinator and Contents Support

Mariah Persons is a key member of the Simmons Builders Water Restoration team, serving in both administrative and field support roles. As a secretary, she manages scheduling, documentation, customer communication, and day to day office operations to ensure each restoration project runs smoothly and efficiently. In restoration, clear communication and organized documentation are not optional, and Mariah helps make sure customers are never left guessing about next steps.
In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Mariah works hands on as a box and contents mover, assisting with the careful packing, labeling, transport, and organization of customers belongings during water mitigation and restoration projects. Her attention to detail and respect for clients property help maintain organization, prevent loss, and support accurate inventory tracking. That matters because it protects the homeowner’s personal items and keeps the job site safer and more efficient.
What customers appreciate most about Mariah is that she is steady and dependable. She helps hold the process together, supports the team in the field when needed, and helps homeowners feel taken care of during a situation that can be stressful and emotional.
